In 2017, I had two events that called for my hospitalization. The first was life-threatening and the second was for an injury. On both occasions I had the chance to see the AH team at work in the ER, ICU and Surgery. I stayed in one of the wonderful patient rooms and enjoyed all my meals. The treatment that I was given in both occasions was first class. The doctors, nurses and support staff were all very friendly and professional.
I give AH Lodi Memorial two thumbs up, now I hope I don’t have to experience that again! Carolyn Kathy Wooten
December 2017 Thank you for the best care ever. I had a tummy ache that tuned into acute appendix emergency surgery. Both Dr. Lee and nurse Mary D were amazing I was very fortunate that my appendix didn't burst and went home the next day. Lynn Aebi
June 6, 2017 "A loved one just spent three weeks in the LMH Acute Rehab Facility...what a great addition to the hospital! The place was beautiful and the care was amazing. She was released yesterday, still has paralysis but is improving very slowly. We were so happy to be able to have her in Lodi, knowing it was one of the two 5-star rehab facilities in the state." |

Several months ago, I was involved in an accident in another city and the emergency room doctor told me due to the severity of the injury I needed to see my doctor and a plastic surgeon.
Then came the hunt for a plastic surgeon. I was informed that they only do faces and not extremities as my injury was to my leg. I contacted Lodi Health and they recommended me to the Wound Center.
I was immediately informed at my arrival there by several doctors that they could completely heal the large wound without a skin graft, but it would take time. I didn’t want a skin graft due to the ongoing pain afterwards. After several months, the wound is almost healed and the tissue I lost is completely restored.
What a great medical facility, and I didn’t even know it existed after living here for 37 years just a short distance from it.

Dear Lodi Memorial Foundation,
Thank you so much for your generous contribution to my college fund, but above all, for inspiring me to take the risk of going to Stanford over USC. I have no doubt in my mind it was the right choice for the future. I see myself having, but I do not know if I would've taken the leap without your support and guidance. I hope to continue comibing my passions in computer science and ag engineering ( and potentially exploring new ones over the next four years.) Thank you again!
Sincerely,
Julie Fukunaga

Dear Scholarship Committee,
My lifelong dream of becoming a nurse is moving forward, thanks to generous eucational scholarships like yours. Since being named a recipient of the Lodi Memorial Hospital Foundation Scholarship and Lorraine Pope Nursing Scholarship, my dream of becoming a Nurse is a step closer to reality at California State University, Sacramento. Continuing my education gives me an opportunity to earn skills that will serve the medical community following graduation. Without scholarship patrons willing to support higher education, students such as myself would be unable to pursue advanced health care degrees.
Your financial generosity has allowed me to be one step closer to my goal and has inspired me to help others by giving back to the community. I hope one day I will be able to help other students achieve their goal just as you have helped me.
It is my pleasure to join the committee at the scholarship banquiet on Thursday May 17, 2016.
Once again, thank you for the vote of confidence. It has motivated me to stay committed to my education and the health care field. Thanks to your continued generosity.
Sincerely,
Lizzy Ramirez

Pat Langhoff:
Dear Board Members,
Recently, I went to Lodi Memorial 'Emergency' to seek help with my cardiac problems. Words cannot describe the gratitude I felt for the kindness, prompt attention and treatment that I received. From the receiving desk to the bed I was given every courtesy and help to ease my condition. Jennifer Williams, RN took time to explain my condition and thus made it not so terrifying. This information helps me cope.
Enclosed is a check of $1000 for the Foundation. Please Extend my gratitude for the efficiency and kindness of the personnel to all concerned.
Sincerely,
Pat Langhoff

Nancy Watts:
It has been my privilege to serve on the Board of Directors of the Lodi Memorial Hospital Foundation for many years. Working with dedicated local business people, community members, and hospital staff, I’ve seen the changing face of LMH, from increased patient services and the growth of our service area, through the building of the south wing and the acquisition by Adventist Health.
However, it is my recent experience as a patient that confirmed for me the exceptional value Lodi Memorial Hospital provides to Lodi and surrounding communities. From the emergency room, to admission, to discharge … at each step of the journey I marveled at, and was thankful for the competent medical professionals, each in their specific role, supporting me through this medical emergency with care and compassion. The physicians, hospitalists and specialists directing my care gave me a real sense of trust, safety and security. Each member of the nursing staff in ER and 4-South was supportive and so competent. Thank you!
Reflecting on the past week, I am truly filled with awe and gratitude for everyone who played a part in my recovery. Lodi Memorial Hospital/Adventist Health are, and will continue to provide a high level of medical care for Lodi. Join me and the other Board of Directors of the Lodi Memorial Hospital Foundation in supporting this mission in our community.

My name is Sherry Beltz, I am the owner of the Jazzercise Premier Center in Lodi. My associates and I have been participating in the Walk For The Health of It for 20 years now. We are responsible for warming up all the walkers and runners before they are set out on their routes.
First thing I was impressed with was the communication between the staff members running the event. It seemed much more organized then past years. The event flowed without a hitch ( besides the stereo circuits blowing, which was fixed and up in running in no time) each announcer kept their announcements to the point so that they didn't loose the attention of the crowd. The awards went smoothly and in a timely manner.
Second thing I noticed was how the tables were in a well organized easy to find sequence. We didn't have to walk all over the place looking for a particular table we wanted to visit, It was well thought out. Every staff member made you feel welcomed and appreciated.
And last but not least, and the most impressive was the cleanliness of the area and the clean porta potties. The number of porta potties might have been too many for the people there but I loved it. Job well done for 2015 event, I hope that you feel it was just as successful as we did. Thank you again for having us and for letting us pass out out schedules. We look forward to 2016.

Wayne Craig:
It is my great pleasure to remind everyone why I choose to apply for and was grateful for being selected as the Executive Director of the Lodi Memorial Foundation. All of my children and grandchildren were born at Lodi Memorial Hospital. I was friends with an original hospital board member and founder of the Foundation, Mr. Bob Mullen. His son and LMHF board member, Dr. Ken Mullen, was my personal doctor and friend since returning to Lodi from medical school. My wife, Diane, was a Ribier Hospital Auxiliary Member and recording secretary. I have been a patient at Lodi Health and received exceptional care that, in fact, kept me alive from a major medical event. The doctors, nurses, staff and directors of the hospital have been the life blood of our community and Lodi should be as proud as I am that Lodi is uniquely served by an excellent hospital. It is thrilling to be part of an institution that supports our hospital and the health of our community. I hope you too will find a way to join our efforts.
