2022 Clinical LAB EXPANSION PROJECTThe clinical lab at Adventist Health Lodi Memorial completes over 2,000,000 tests per year and serves nearly 350,000 lives from 4 hospitals and several rural clinics. Because of the expanding need for additional services and several pieces of equipment nearing end-of-life service, a major expansion project has been initiated. Doctors rely upon test results for diagnosing conditions, treating patients and to follow progress leading to cures and health management Inpatients and their care providers are directly impacted by the time it takes to get test results AHLM Lab processes over 2,000,000 tests a year (27,000 Covid tests in 2020) AHLM Lab is at capacity and needs updated equipment and expansion to meet the growth of patient needs throughout the greater Lodi area. |
THE NEED
.Automation of sample processing to expedite results and streamline archiving
New analyzers for blood, protein, cancer markers, stroke indicators and infections Replacement of “end-of-life” analyzers that are no longer supported Ultra-Deep Freezer for storage of tissue and tendons used in surgery Dual-head Microscope to provide dual access for analysis Blood Storage Refrigeration — needed to meet new temperature control standards. |
