Message to our Donors:
March 31, 2020
As we all are personally experiencing these are extraordinaire times, our lives and our world are changing daily, but I am continually encouraged by the spirit of my friends, neighbors and overall community. As we strive to adjust and protect our families it is reassuring that we have dedicated and compassionate healthcare workers that will stand in the gap to make sure we are healthy.
Adventist Health Lodi Memorial has adopted an All Hands On Deck! approach for minimizing the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in Lodi. We have added additional beds, built processing and isolation tents, imported new equipment, built up supplies and formed a Command Center for centralized management of the crisis. Fortunately, as of this writing, no deaths have occurred in Lodi and of the few Covid-19 patients that have been treated, most have been discharged for home recovery and quarantine.
Here is an excerpt from a recent message by Adventist Health Lodi Memorial president, Daniel Wolcott:
Over the last few days, I have been especially thankful for the support of the amazing Lodi community. It makes me proud of you, our workforce, and proud of those we serve. We do not know what will happen in the coming days, but we are confident of this … our team will do our best to serve this community. I am thankful to serve beside each of you, and I am confident that whatever comes our way, together we will prevail. Daniel
Many of you have asked, “How can we help?”. First, please comply with the quarantine rules and protect your community. Second, the foundation is accepting in-kind gifts of supplies, like N95 masks, general surgical masks, gloves and gowns. Many sewing groups are making masks for the hospital, now that the CDC rules have changed. Our media partners have been generous in publishing these needs to the community. Cash gifts are also welcome, as this crisis is stretching all services and budgets at the hospital.
If you would like to partner with us in fighting this crisis, please drop off in-kind gifts at the foundation office: 845 S. Fairmont Ave. Suite 3, Lodi between 1-4PM, Monday through Friday. Please call the office before drop-off at 209-339-7833. For monetary gifts please send a check or go online to: www.lmhfoudnatin.org and click the Donate button. Also please feel free to call me on my cell at 209-327-2222.
Blessings,
