Golf Tournament

Golf Tournament

The hospital's golf tournament is held the second Monday of September each year. This year's "Dr. Russell B. Steele Memorial Golf Tournament" will be held at Woodbridge Golf & CC. $150 per person registration and sponsorships are still available. Registration at 8:30 and tee off at 10:00 a.m.

"Summer Fest" is our premier food and wine tasting event which has been held at Woodridge by Robert Mondavi since 1984. Each year Mondavi graciously donates wine which is then paired with food donated by fifteen to twenty local restaurants and caterers. Delta Radiology has been our event sponsor since 2001. The event features a picnic atmosphere on the beautiful grounds of the Mondavi winery. 

Walk for the Health of It

The "Walk for the Health of It" is held the second Saturday in May. F&M Bank has been the event sponsor since its inception in 1991. Over one-million dollars have been raised to purchase such items as treadmills for our West Fitness Center, Fetal Monitors for OB, EKG Units for Cardiopulmonary and to provide scholarships for our Adult Day Care program. 

The "Walk" includes a 5K timed walk, a 5K poker walk, a one-mile Walk & Roll for wheelchairs and those with strollers. In 2008 a 5K timed run was added along with a one mile "Fun Run" for students. Event highlights include health screenings, entertainment, healthy snacks and demonstrations by Jazzercise, American Medical Response and the Lodi Fire Department.

Donor Recognition Reception

Each year the Foundation holds a Donor Recognition Reception in the Fall to thank those that are "Tree of Life" donors or members of "Acorns to Oaks." The Tree of Life sculpture was created to honor our donors. The tree honors “Friends” who have donated $5,000 to $24,999, “Supporters” who have donated $25,000 to $49,999, “Patrons” who have donated $50,000 to $74,999, “Medallion”, those who have donated $75,000 to $99,999 and “Legacy”, those that have donated $100,000 or more.

Acorns to Oaks has been established by the Lodi Memorial Hospital Foundation Board of Directors to honor those who have generously remembered the hospital by naming it in their wills, trusts, life insurance or other endowed gifts. Guests of the annual reception will be honored as members of the "Tree of Life" and/or "Acorns to Oaks.” If you are interested in becoming a member, you can join by providing the Foundation with the page of your will, trust, life insurance policy, etc. which designates the Lodi Memorial Hospital Foundation as beneficiary. We want to recognize your generosity which has helped the Foundation to promote health care in the greater Lodi area including services in Galt and Ione.
